Our Adventure Program includes: Yoga, Ice Climbing, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Skiing, Walking Meditation, Backpacking, Mountaineering, and Snowshoeing. We are committed to a ensuring the highest standards in outdoor adventure by partnering with some of the very best guiding companies and mentors through the Pacific Northwest. We also adhere to best practices and leave no trace values.
All women are eligible to participate in Wayward Adventures. We operate under the premise that cancer often has a ripple effect, not only on those who are diagnosed, but often, on family and friends as well.
Choose your adventure
Nature holds natural healing elements. You'll have your choice to choose from a variety of outdoor experiences that is broken down and defined as either a clinic, school, or trip. Each activity encompasses our core beliefs of connecting our community, setting achievable, but challenging goals, celebrating our life through stories, and learning to quiet our overactive minds. During your admission process, you will work with one of our team members to pick the right adventure for you. Our admission process starts with an individual meet and greet. This is designed to get to know you and your story. We will learn what fuels you and what scares you. How we may support and challenge you. You will also obtain medical clearance to ensure your own safety on the trips. Finally, during this phase of the program, you will also have the opportunity to participate in any community workshops, skill practice sessions, with exposure to our health coaches, counselors, and mentors. Each clinic has a courage meter, along with intensity bar to help you lock in the right adventure for you.
