Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.
Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: The most important things you can do to help prevent cervical cancer are to get vaccinated against HPV, have regular screening tests, and go back to the doctor if your screening test results are not normal.

We’re all in this together! Patients, family members, and caregivers need support, resources for coping, and more than a little love. Access #cervicalhealthawarenessmonth resources at https://t.co/Dz60NIBMlZ. #cervicalcancerpreventionmonth

Breast Cancer Awareness Month | #STANDBYHER
Oct

to Oct 31

Breast Cancer Awareness Month | #STANDBYHER

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the officially designated time set aside to educate, honor those impacted, and raise awareness of this complex disease. But breast cancer happens every day - in fact, in the United States, every two minutes a woman hears the words no one wants to hear, “You have breast cancer.”

Our work continues throughout the year. Awareness events, advocacy of issues and better opportunities for women, encouraging wellness choices and education on women’s cancers. As an all local organization, we welcome community partners from across the PNW to join us in this critical work.

We invite you to #StandbyHer. This October we encourage you to assess your own risk for breast cancer with your doctor, get your annual mammogram, and support those who are experiencing this devastating disease by donating to make a difference. Give to help us continue to provide information and attend events, donate to our Every Woman Can LOVE Totes sent to a woman in treatment, provide dollars to pay for a mammogram. Every dollars stays local and helps here in the Pacific Northwest.
